Centre County Office of Adult Services

Serving the Community
Centre County Government's Office of Adult Services oversees and administers programs that serve low-income and/or disabled adults and their families to meet basic needs, work towards self-sufficiency, and offer protection for those at their highest vulnerability. Our office is available to provide direct services and referrals to other community resources. The majority of programs offered by the Department are administered by partner organizations, which include: Central PA Community Action, Centre County Women's Resource Center, Centre County Youth Services Bureau, Centre Helps, Centre Volunteers in Medicine, County Homemakers, Home Helpers, Housing Transitions, and Interfaith Human Services.

Please locate the menu on the left hand column to explore available services based on your need(s).

Questions & Concerns
We welcome any questions or concerns you may have about the services that we provide. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a basic needs emergency, please contact the Community Help Line, operated by Centre Helps, at 1-800-494-2500. Centre Helps operates a 24-hour information & referral and short-term counseling hotline that connects residents with community resources and provides emotional support.
