Centre County Food Pantries
Centre County Government's Office of Adult Services coordinates the funding available through the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for supplemental food assistance. The State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) and the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) are funding sources available for our local, in-network pantries to purchase food and distribute it to eligible individuals and families. Central PA Communitiy Action is Centre County's local lead agency for these programs and provides food delivery and purchasing coordination, as well as support to the in-network pantries. Centre County residents who are in need of food should touch base with their local pantry (see links for locations and maps below) or contact the Office of Adult Services for additional assistance at (814) 355-6768 ext. 2.
