Act 13 Timeline
  • February 14, 2012: Governor Tom Corbett signs House Bill 1950.
  • March 20, 2012: Centre County Board of Commissioners holds public hearing on "Unconventional Gas Well Fee" Ordinance (Ordinance Number 2 of 2012).
  • April 3, 2012: Centre County Board of Commissioners passes Ordinance Number 2 of 2012.
  • July 6, 2012: Documentation submitted by all 35 Centre County municipalities certifying their 2010 municipal budget according to PUC Guidelines.
  • November 5, 2012: Impact fee distributions for 2012 received by county and local municipalities.
  • December 1, 2012: PUC deadline to distribute 2011 Impact Fee revenue to county and municipalities.
  • March 1, Annually: File Municipal Budget Report Forms for both 2011 and 2012 with the Public Utility Commission. Under current procedure the forms must be mailed as hard copy or attached to the email shown on the official report form. Access the report forms by clicking here.
  • April 15, Annually: Submit Unconventional Gas Well Fund Usage Report to the PUC and post the form on municipal website. If no website exists, Centre County Government will host the reports on behalf of those municipalities here.
  • July 1, Annually: PUC deadline to distribute annual impact fee revenue to county and municipalities.
