Referrals from the criminal justice system are handled through the Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities (TASC) Program. This program provides assessment and referral services as well as advocacy and support for adults coming through the court system. Case Management staff will complete assessments and forward recommendations for treatment services to the courts. Staff will then offer referrals to an appropriate treatment provider.
DUI Court / Drug Court – Drug and Alcohol has dedicated case management staff assigned to work with individuals being served through Centre County’s specialty court programs. This involves assessment and referral to treatment, as well as ongoing case management to address treatment-related needs that may be a barrier to long-term recovery.
