The Centre County Adult Recovery Court Program is an intensive program for individuals who need long-term, highly structured Drug/Alcohol Treatment and Intensive Supervision.
The Recovery Court Program is a specialty treatment court targeting high risk/high needs, nonviolent individuals having criminal offenses that are drug/alcohol related and/or driven by Substance Use Disorders. Recovery Court is a non-adversarial program addressing the specific treatment and ancillary needs of individuals placed in the program, while at the same time holding Participants accountable for their actions. It is a post-plea, post-adjudication program targeting individuals facing revocation of their Probation, Probation with Restrictive Conditions (PRC), and/or Parole sentence.
Recovery Court is based on the Problem-Solving Court Model and as such it is specially designed to reduce recidivism and substance abuse in order to increase individuals’ likelihood of successful rehabilitation. Participation in Recovery Court is both a privilege and an opportunity as Participants are provided access to treatment, resources and experts to help them on their journey to long-term recovery.
