The Centre County Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) coordinates transportation planning in Centre County, PA. The CCMPO’s Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is the official transportation plan for Centre County, and the LRTP 2044 will guide decision-making about transportation improvements to the year 2044. The Draft LRTP 2044 is available for public review during a 30-day period that will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 and conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
The CCMPO’s Public Participation Plan (PPP) outlines a series of standard procedures for informing the public and involving them in a meaningful planning process that provides complete information, timely public notice, and full access by all segments of the population. The Draft 2015 PPP is available for public review during a 45-day period that will begin on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 and conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015.
The documents can be accessed online by clicking on the above links or viewed during normal business hours at the Centre Regional Planning Agency, the Centre Area Transportation Authority’s (CATA’s) Customer Service Center on East Beaver Ave. in State College, the Centre County Planning and Community Development Office in Bellefonte, the Philipsburg Borough Building, the Snow Shoe Township Building, and the Centre Hall Area Branch Library. Translation services are available upon request.

The CCMPO Coordinating Committee will consider adoption of the LRTP 2044 on Tuesday, September, 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the College Township Municipal Building, 1481 E. College Ave., State College, PA.
Adoption of the CCMPO’s 2015 Public Participation Plan will be considered on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Patton Township Municipal Building, 100 Patton Plaza, State College, PA.
