[ARCHIVED] Town Hall Meeting - The Heroin and Opioid Crisis in Centre County: The Criminal Justice System

The Fourth and Final Town Hall on the Heroin Opioid Crisis in Centre County was held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, in the Galen and Nancy Dreibelbis Auditorium at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. This Town Hall provided information on how federal, state, and local authorities are combating the drug problem in Centre County and across the state.  The event was moderated by Ferguson Township Police Chief Diane Conrad, and speakers from Centre County included the District Attorney, Coroner, Chief Probation Officer, a representative from the State Police, and a Judge from the Court of Common Pleas.  Other speakers included representatives from the PA Attorney General’s Office, the FBI, the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration, and the US Attorney’s Office.
