The Centre County Office of Aging is participating in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Voucher Program. This is a first-come, first-serve program available to eligible individuals in Centre County.
To be eligible, individuals must meet both age and income guidelines. Participants must be 60 years or older by December 31, 2018 and meet the income guidelines of $22,459 per individual and $30,451 per couple. Each eligible person will receive a total of $20 in vouchers to be spent at participating vendors at a Pennsylvania farmers market.
Centre County residents may apply for vouchers at the Office of Aging, 420 Holmes Street, Bellefonte, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. To obtain the vouchers, participants must provide proof of age and Centre County residency. If an eligible participant is unable to pick up their voucher, please call the Office of Aging. A proxy form is required when picking up vouchers for another person.
