The Centre County Board of Commissioners took action at its Tuesday, November 19 meeting to adopt a tentative budget for 2020.
The proposed 2020 Budget represents the tenth consecutive year that the County’s general millage rate will remain the same. Included in the 2020 proposal is a 2 % increase in revenues and a 2.8% increase in expenditures to fund County operations and to carry out the County’s mission of providing the highest quality of services, programs, and supports to the citizens of Centre County. Following a twenty-day public review period including publication on the County’s website, adoption of the 2020 Budget will take place at the Thursday, December 17, 2019 regularly scheduled Board of Commissioners meeting.
