Looking for a fun and free family event? Come to Marsh Creek Community Day Saturday, July 30th 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm for a fun filled day of free food, stream tours, fly fishing, live bird banding, native seed bomb creation and more!

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon to learn about, connect with, and celebrate Marsh Creek!

Take a guided stream tour to learn all about the Romola Branch stream and fish habitat restoration project, why riparian buffers are so important to streamside health, and how you can participate in citizen science in the region. In addition to guided stream tours, the afternoon's activities will also include:

  • Bird banding demonstrations
  • Macroinvertebrate investigations
  • Fly casting lessons
  • Electrofishing demonstration (at the 12:30pm stream tour)
  • Build-Your-Own Seed Bomb creation station

This event will happen rain or shine and will require some walking, so please dress accordingly.
