The Commissioners proclaimed Wednesday, May 7, 2014 as "Douglas Meyer Day" in Centre County. Dr. Meyer, a world-renowned composer, has been the Music Director for the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra for over 56 years and will be retiring in May 31, 2014.
